Welcome
Relicon is a finnish alternative metal band with a pinch of finnish melancholy in it's music. Some might say Relicon is more gothic metal than alternative, but I'll let you decide. My music is inspired by such metal acts as Anathema, Katatonia and Paradise Lost.
I actually got something done. This must be a miracle. So, after a long wait I present to you... Session 2. This is the second part of my sessions trilogy and each one is going to be instrumental only. I have absolutely no idea when and if I'm going to release the other parts =)
Once again I find myself in this same s(h)ituation, my new vocalist is gone. So I won't be able to release any new songs until I find a new one. The good news is that I will be seeing Juha alot more next year, so mixing and mastering should be easier... Well you know, until some other shitstorm comes along and takes the fun away once again.

Last weekend Juha, Tuukka and me were recording guitar and bass tracks to two more songs I am about to publish this year. Those songs already had previously recorded drum tracks which are fine, so no problem there. Vocal tracks are still missing and we are about to record them as soon as possible. It was very cold recording there, my hands were freezing and I think I did a lot of mistakes. Imagine you'd have to be precise with your fingers for 6 minutes, which are freezing and you have to record the whole song in one shot. After 6 hours of recording, the skin started to peel of my fingertips so that didn't help either.
Juha hasn't mixed MoM2 yet, but hopefully we'll get it done the same time as those two other songs =)
